Research and analysis shows that the groundwater will be unaffected by this project
- The groundwater depth at the proposed site is greater than 280 feet below ground.
- The site is located over a different groundwater sub-basin than Hinkley or Barstow.
- The groundwater below the site flows in a northerly direction - away from Hinkley, not toward it.
- The site will be designed to prevent stormwater run-on and run-off.
